From the beginning, Chase showed a deep understanding of retriever fundamentals and a clear passion for developing skilled, reliable hunting dogs. He took my dog, Woody, in for training and gave him the foundation he needed not just to perform, but to excel.

Chase is methodical and patient, making sure every fundamental is rock solid before progressing to more advanced work. Woody spent the summer at Garner Creek and came back a completely transformed dog — focused, steady, and driven in the field. He had his first successful duck hunting season at just a year and a half old and handled it like a seasoned dog.

Beyond hunting, Chase successfully ran Woody through the HRC Seasoned hunt tests, and after just a few more months of training, Woody completed his HRC Seasoned title right around his second birthday. It's clear that the program at Garner Creek isn’t just about passing tests — it’s about building truly reliable hunting companions.

One of the things I appreciated most was the regular communication. Chase sent weekly updates and was always responsive whenever I had questions. I always knew how Woody was progressing, and it gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such capable hands.
